I am a fierce advocate for girls and women. I consider my role as the mom of a daughter to be the greatest responsibility I will ever hold. As a professional content creator and journalist, I am dedicated to using my skills and influence to represent real girls in the media, make the workplace equitable for women, and be a mentor to women building their careers.

Steph is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Communications Strategist specializing in Systems-Approach Marketing. Steph works with the City of Seattle’s Equity Programming and as a research consultant with the Geena Davis Media Institute on Gender in Media. They received their B.A. in Journalism, minoring in history at Temple University and will receive their and Master’s in Communication at the University of Washington in June 2020.

Michelle works as an editor and content creator for many of the world’s top travel companies. This has included editing hotel catalogs featuring the most incredible hideaways around the globe, print brochures and SEO web content about everything from Mediterranean cruising to Antarctic exploration, email newsletters about gourmet globetrotting and family vacation spots, and editing hiking guidebooks. Before starting her freelance firm, Eagle Eyes Editing, in 2002, she was an editor at Virtuoso – the country’s top luxury travel network. She is mom to three kiddos, including one fierce little girl, and hopes to inspire in them a desire to become responsible global citizens.
